it seems like everything is coming together for me, im getting more and more excited.
the invitations are almost ready to be printed, glued, folded, stamped, and mailed. whew... good thing for my sister. she calls monday
"umm, you better have the stuff for your invitations ready to so on saturday, because im coming over to help you put them together..."
so needless to say, im working on getting the stuff together for the invitation party im all of a sudden having. :) i love her as a maid of honour... she gets me, to get things done!
so right now, i apologize that if you receive a invitation that was made closer to the end of the invite making... don't worry if it's crooked... i probably wasn't seeing straight! lol. wine will definately be involved with something like this. good... attention to detail christine, good on ya!
(and that was just me, typing to myself... on my blog! i've reached a new level...)

to add to all that,
im meeting with my DJ on friday, awesome. i think it's going to be amazing.
photographer early next week. the ones that were booked and that i originally wanted... lucky me!
so really, it's detail stuff... tables, linens, glassware, the liquor, shoes!!!! hair, make-up, and getting the mr. to not only ask his groomsmen, but to get them in to get measured up! nothing but procastination there!
anyways, the coffee is ready, and the invites are so close... i can taste.... paper?

day 2...
well, as the title suggests, it's day 2 of my workout, diet makeover!
i did awesome yesterday! i felt good all day long, except when the kids made a baby bath in the middle of the hallway... and spilt it everywhere, that was a little stressful. i tried so hard to maintain my cool.
my workout yesterday was unbelieveable! i took my time making sure i was lifting with the correct form. my cardio and yoga was fantastic as well... im feeling it today, im a little sore. but that good 'sweet pain'. that only tells me that what i did yesterday, actually worked!
i had more energy, and slept good. i feel absolutely awesome.
slept in a bit this morning, so i haven't had a chance to workout yet... most likely after lunch.
i took pictures, and measured yesterday, i think every 30 days i'll re-measure and take another set of pictures. just so i can document my progress. :)

workout - day 1...
well, today is the day. im starting my new diet, and workout plan. i kept it simple to start, so i don't get discourgaed, or... lazy. i need to whoop my body into shape, i have until the wedding, so august. i have some cardio, actually lots of cardio... planned for 30 minutes + everyday, except sundays. and mondays, wednesday and fridays, light weight training. :) tuesdays and thursdays i am starting up a running group. ladies, who run... in the evening. should be a success. also on tuesdays and thursdays, i have planned pilates. and of course everyday, including sunday, yoga!
should be intense. and the part im looking forward to the most, is lifting weights. and running of course.
a neightbour of mine, a trainer, is actually going to train me for a month, to see what happens. mostly he just wants to make sure i learn the right form for lifting weights, i start with him after easter. i've been reading and watching tonnes of books and movies, and shows on lifting weights... so i think it i keep it to the simple lifts... i'll be fine for 2 weeks.

my dress
i finally ordered my dress, ordered it on the 9th, so im a little late posting the details, but alot has been going on...
so it's white. with one strap. kinda wonky, like me. gathered to one side. perfect amount of bling. fitted to show off my sexy figure, well... it's a working progress. lol. almost there.
funny thing is, i didn't really like the dress when i first tried it on. we were able to take pictures at BRIDAL DEBUT... (the best customer service EVER, and i would recommend them to anyone and everyone getting married!!) anyways... i do digress... the more i looked at the pictures after, the more i loved the dress. i went a second time to a bridal salon i wish not to mention... where i didn't like anything, and everything was being compared to MY dress. so i went the next business day and ordered the darn thing. nervous, but did it.
it should be here the first week in july. time seems to be running out, now that the dress is ordered... moving on.

stress...
it's been awhile,
so of course... lots is new, and of course... i have lots to talk about. nothing unusual.
i'll take it one day at a time, to fill by blog up with past, present and future events in my life. yea!
lately, i've been stressed. and i usually have that sense of stress because of my kids, but that doesn't usually come around until... after lunch?!
but this is a little diffrent, i go to sleep with it, and i wake up with it.
all i can say, is this economy cruch, is freaking me out!
i've been taking some important steps to get myself out of this stressful junk... and i've been looking for a job. thats right... a jay-oh-bee. although my kids will be in childcare... i've got to do what i got to do. i think i'll feel more secure having a stable job.
the man has one, but it's not promising. there isn't very much work right now through the union. when something does come up, he may have to sacrifice not being home every night... which sucks!
but were going to do, what we have to do...

birthday party disipline.
i can't beileve my little man is a year old. already. i made him a cake on his real birthday, it turned out fantastic. the actually party, my sister made it, and as usual, her's was way more artistic then mine, and so yummy. well... both cakes were good to eat. :)
anyways... we just had the family over, and after the food was done, and the cake was eaten, along came presant time. yeah! not really.
all the kids were maulling him. we had emmit's uncle take video but you can hardly see him in the video... just his little head and all the othe kids opening his gifts. awe.
i had stool beside me and i had been putting the clothes emmit got, along with the cards emmit got on top. i must have said something wrong when i told all the kids to 'backup, and give emmit some room...' one of the kids walked by and shoved all the clothes and cards onto the floor. i had then asked him if he did that... and he smiled and said yes. i proceeded to ask why... he said because he wanted to. i kept my cool, said 'you goof' and picked up the stuff. meanwhile his parents sitting behind me found it very unapproiate for me to call their son a goof. and left. without a goodbye, a thank-you... nothing. RUDE!
the next day i find out... the reason they left... was because i called their son a goof! and they want me to apologize. i am going to, just to their son. not to them. in the back of my mind i have no idea why im apologizing... because to me, i've done nothing wrong.
if that was my kid at their house, and they did the exact same thing, i would have said... 'pick that up'... but thats the difference i guess... my kids wouldn't have done something like that, and if they did... i would be diciplining them... not other people.
i guess the difference is i watch and look after my own kids while im out... i don't expect other people to watch and dicipline my kids. if they don't listen to me, they are not going to listen to you!

wedding this, wedding that.
wedding this, and wedding that. im starting to actually get excited. although wedding planning isn't what it seems. it could be if you had an endless flow of money, and could spend whatever you wanted.
we've almost found a venue. we've seen a few more places, and now there are 2 potential venues. YEA!
i think we've got our caterer, and our photographer already, i just hope they are both available on that day!! speaking of dates, we still don't have one. ha! we didn't want to choose one keeping it open for the rental of the venue! we're so smart! my sister is doing the cake, and my cousin is doing to flowers. adam and i aren't too concerned about transportation. so there we go. i already have the invitation lay-out ready to go, im making my own. everything feels like it's coming together, the closer we get to choosing a venue, the more clear everything else is!
